![]() ![]() Irrepressible gives the hero a +5% Virtue Chance.Misc. The virtue chance is always at least 1% and is capped at 60%." Source: Characters with lower level than the dungeon they are in get a virtue chance penalty of 5% per level difference except when the difference is 6 (level 0 characters in the Darkest Dungeon) then the penalty is 33%. Also, the Worrystone gives a +10% chance, so it's not necessarily a ring as I said in my original post, but I wasn't sure. Hero's Ring has a +15% chance and the Ancestor's Tentacle Idol has a 25% chance. ![]() It's capped at 60%? Welp, I didn't know that, but everything else I said is true. Virtue chance is capped at 60% FYI ->game files That's a +5% virtue chance isn't it? Yeah, now that makes it 75%. Because that's like 70%.Įdit: Also make sure they have the "Irrepressible" quirk. So, combining the 25% DEFAULT virtue chance with the 15% virtue chance from the town event, 5% from the resolve level (if they're one level higher than the quest level), 15% virtue chance from the Hero's ring, and 10% virtue chance from this one ring (forgot the name), then you can probably rely on getting a virtue on your characters. Likewise, if you bring level 2 characters, they all have a 5% less chance to get a virtue. If you go on a level 3 quest and you bring level 4 characters, they all have an extra 5% chance to get a virtue. ![]() Originally posted by Infectious Frostbite:If you get that town event again and want to rely on your characters getting a virtue, make sure their resolve level is higher than the quest level, and also make sure they have two trinkets that increase their virtue chance. ![]()
